Terry Hoage Vineyards, "The Pick" Cuvee 2006 - Paso Robles
With opening complex aromas of spice and fruit, and tightly packed melange of red raspberry, cherry, black tea, peppery bouillon and earth. The flavors show a youthful bright acidity and are coiled layers of pepper, black tea, tobacco leaf and earthy truffles with a sweet core of black and racy red berries. The finish is long, expressive, yet somewhat genteel. This is a very lovely. wine. 55% Grenache, 27 % Syrah, 11% Mourvedre, and 6 % Counoise. 460 cases produced.
